My wife and I live in Lincoln Nebraska. We moved here in 1999 from Rochester Minnesota, with 4 children who have since left the nest. I first became acquainted with tracking cars after purchasing a BMW in 2007. Unfortunately I purchased a convertible and BMW high-performance driving schools would not allow convertibles. So I would track my daily driver, 2001 Lexus 430 GS, instead and I attended about 2 schools a year for several years. In 2010 I purchased 2006 Pontiac GTO 6 L and added an upgraded Pedders suspension. I was always trying to upgrade the car, which led in 2013 to trading for a Mustang Boss 302. I fell in love with the car, and despite an altercation with a guardrail at Motorsport Parks Hastings in 2015, I have tried to get out on the track several times a year. Now the car has considerably more credibility (especially since Kenny Brown put his name all over it) than the the driver. But I am inspired by the camaraderie, support and advice from the Mustang community and I hope to have considerably more seat time in the near future.
