Just had my stock 500 battery replaced right at the 2 year mark, 16000 miles on Boss, by World Ford in Pensacola. All under warranty. Since I don't track car, the mechanic there put the stock 590 (heavier) in it for me, claiming better amperage for starting.

This is going to sound weird but in our little area of the Northwest Florida Panhandle (Pensacola to Destin) and with the 3 Mustang clubs that I go to show and shines plus car shows with, I have counted a total of 14 Boss 302's so far in this area. Must be all the military bases around this...
