I will say this, Hoosier R7s are a whole lot different now than even 4 years ago. A set of Hoo Hoos will last 25 heat cycles (If rotated and have proper -3.0+ camber up front) and hold lap time. This is 15 cycles better than the old compound. They can be had in 315/30-18, 315/30-19 or 295/30-19...
Class in wherever the car fits and run either or both, they are both good organizations. One thing I will caution about TT, don't expect it to be like a regular track day. Sessions are short, most competitors do an out lap, to warm tires and breaks, one or maybe two hot laps and then an in lap...
I think I posted earlier in the event thread that these are "Events" not track days. This one was a little less organized than the other 4 MCA events I have done but not more than expected. Losing track time there should be no excuse for, driver wrist bands should have been issued with the event...

Pretty cool video of @Black Boss and I running hard around the Barber Motorsports Park during the Mustang Clubs' 60th Anniversary event. Got the lap time down to 1:37.65. Crowd really was into our tussle.
