The engineering costs to develop, test, and certify all of the content, as mentioned in another post, would definitely eat into that figure. Between having to upgrade engine dynos to run at higher levels, track time at Leguna Seca, engine PCM tuning, alcantara on the steering wheels, etc., etc...
If Ford follows the trend they have been for the S197 Mustangs since 2010, the 2012 model year would end in Dec 2011, with the order banks opening for the 2013s that same month. Production could then start in Jan 2012.
Yes, I have seen one in person in several different lighting situations - outside and inside. The brightness of the light seems to affect how "reddish", "tomato soupish", or "orangy" it looks. To me, it also looks like a slightly darker orange than the competition orange from the SN-95 Mustangs...
In early September, an entry showed up on Border's Books website announcing a new book on the Boss 302 coming out next year. That is the reference to the numbers.Ford still has not officially confirmed this anywhere to my knowledge.
The only items I would consider are the brake cooling ducts and something to mount 3-pt harnesses for the front seats.I would purchase the Trackey tune for added spice to the base driving experience.Beyond that, this dude would need to take some serious driving lessons to take advantage of...
