Gauge Details ( Blank NOT Showing ) 2013 Boss 302

Hello everyone here,

I own a 2013 Boss 302 I recently got the red track key activated it works and functions as it should. Before I got it activated all of the Gauge Details worked perfectly it was showing everything Air/Fuel Ratio, Cyl Head, Inlet Air, Oil Press, Oil Temp, and Voltage. After getting the track key activated and drove the car home about a month went by and I decided to take a look at the Gauge Details just to check all my numbers and i noticed that they are all blank, the only ones that are showing are Voltage and Oil Press says Normal. I tried changing the battery, and also did a system reset on the dash to no avail sadly. Has anyone experienced this issue before, or know what might be causing this with a fix? I will add two photos as reference. Thanks for everyones time.

I'm reading that if your key got turned into a myKey, that those items won't show on the cluster. Does it do this with both keys? Are you sure one of them wasn't turned into a myKey?

It does it with both keys yes. Im not sure if either one of them got turned into a myKey.

That seems to be the most likely possibility. Because if you had problems with your sensors or with CANBUS then your car would be running like crap. If they aren't myKeys, then you probably have wiring issues or a problem with your cluster. Clusters can be repaired so that's not the worst thing ever. But I'd bet you got myKeyed!

Its not myKey, because neither key tells me on the dash that myKey is in use. So that can be canceled out.

If you "move" to the right on one of the items with no value, do you still get the "gauge view" of the measure, and does that show the current value properly (needle position)?

I can move to the right on each one of them, and when I do they all read zero in the next image window.

So it seems like the cluster is functioning, but it's not getting the data for some of the gauges. I don't recall exactly, but I think all that comes over the CAN bus. If you have Forscan or a good scan tool, you might want to check if it's able to see real-time values for those PIDs over CAN/OBD. That would tell you if the data is missing on the network, or if the cluster just isn't able to read it.

Was the TracKey activation done by a Ford dealer? I'm wondering if somehow something got misconfigured, like the cluster is using the wrong PIDs now for the missing gauges; or the module that puts those data on the network is using different PIDs. Maybe from a similar but slightly different as-built code.

I plugged in a sct tuner to the obd and brought up gauge details window and it only showed coolent temp and voltage. Track key was done at a dealership about 5 to 6 months ago using the procal 2 tuner with the track key programming loaded on a sim card you slide into the tuner vin locked to my vehicle.

I'd call the Ford Performance Tech Line at (800) 367-3788 and explain all the above details. M-F 8:30 - 5 Eastern. Just guessing, but there may have been bug in the tune on the ProCal SIM card.
