I have a set of the Apex EC-7 wheels and I want to replace the plastic center caps with metal one. Can anyone point me in the right direction of anywhere I can find some they they have used. I have looked online and the information I find doesnt seem verified as far as size. Thanks for the help.

Reach out to Apex, they're very responsive and helpful. Last I checked, they were running S550 size wheel cap bores for their Mustang wheel offerings, but that was a while ago so best to verify beforehand. The only source for off-the-shelf metal center caps for S550 wheels I've found are these, but apparently in the notes they're open to doing custom designs (or, I'd assume, blanks).
 
I don't know what year Apex changed the center cap hole size, but I have a set I bought from them several years ago and the hole is larger than a S550 centercap; they won't fit. I bought another set from them a year or two ago and the hole size matches now. Whether yours will fit will depend on how old your Apex wheels are. Regarding metal caps, I have no idea.

So the plastic ones already melted, lol. So I plan to only put the center caps on when I am not rqcong the mustang.
