Hello TMO members, Al here with Auto-Blip. I want to thank all of you that care enough to share suggestions and constructive criticism. A very special thanks to members Rob and Scott who over the last couple of weeks have spent time an effort to support our product development. Now for the good news:
- We have refined our product and installation process for the 05' to 10' model years. These cars are unique in that they use a 3 signal APPS (majority of cars use a 2 signal APPS). Our Standard Auto-Blip unit, connected to the correct 2 APPS signal wires, works seamlessly. Additionally, our C5 Auto-Blip unit, connected to all 3 APPS signal wires, also works well. We tested both units on a 06', 07' and 08' Mustangs, including Rob's 'jaw droping' Shelby GT500. The short explanation is that the ECU will accept 2 of 3 signals for a 'blip', provided they are the correct 2, and are within acceptable deviations. There is no real benefit to installing the more expensive C5 Auto-Blip unit, so don't spend the money. Could there be some cars that need all 3 signals? Possibly, but not likely. Please go to the Support Center tab of our website (auto-blip.com) to download the now updated installation manual ( https://www.auto-blip.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2005-10-Mustang-v2_2_updated.pdf ).
- Now for more good news. Your request to have the default power setting in the Auto-Blip unit to 'OFF' was discussed with my engineer today, and apparently, a software update is all that will take to make this happen. First, we need to confirm and test this solution. This should be relatively quick as it is a software update. Then, I need to come up with a reasonable and expedient way to update the units that are already out there (installed). This can be tricky, but I will take care of TMO members first. I will update you all on this as I know more.
Please don't be shy and call me at (713)289-4015 or write to me at [email protected] with any questions or comments. I very much appreciate your business, and remember TMO members get the best price all the time (call/write for promo code).

Appreciate the Hard work! I already sent an order your way. I got impatient and ordered before i read that you gave TMO members a promo, lol. Oh well, no worries! You deserve to get paid for your hard work! I can't wait to install it, i might be able to actually use it on the track next weekend! Very excited!

Another update!

Installed the new Auto Blip last night and it works great! The install and calibration was very straight forward. No issues testing it out driving around the empty part of my neighborhood. I couldn't be happier with the product.

I will have another update after i try it out at the track this weekend.

Al came back up yesterday and it looks like very positive results.
Rob, thank you once again for allowing me to perform the necessary tests on your car(s).

Good news for all TMO members on the request to have Auto-Blip to go 'default OFF' after the car's ignition is turned on. We have now upgraded our AB software to momentarily (2 seconds) turn the AB module on at startup to clear ECU cycle checks and avoid any temporary faults. After 2 seconds the unit will turn itself OFF until it is manually turned back on. This process is necessary to avoid ECU fault codes resulting from having connections at the accelerator pedal sensor and not having a closed circuit (AB without 12v). Auto-Blip, as it did before, will continue to turn itself OFF after 6 hours of inactivity.
I should know in the next couple of weeks the timing for the new units to come out. More importantly, for all of you that already own an Auto-Blip, is how I will be able to reprogram those units with minimal impact to all of us. I don't have an answer for that yet, but will work on that next. Thank you all for your patience as we continue to work on this.
