Earnhardt is the problem. Unfortunately for me they're the only ford dealer that's convenient for me and I don't like going in there even to pick up parts after they managed to screw up an inspection for a warranty. If I needed work done I'd go to either Larry Miller or San Tan

Yeah thanks for reminding me that ford marketed these as track cars. I called service advisors and asked “why exactly did this get denied?” He said i don’t know someone at the dealer in service decide it so number oone they lied to me it was not Ford that denied it. 2 it’s stock and used at an hpde event like they say you can. So it’s getting escalated i contacted customer relation guy at dealer (worthless) and left message with service director.

If it’s true Chevy backs track usage of their corvette's that could be a competitive advantage in the market that’s for sure.

We shall see but i’m calling BS and halted any repairs until resolution

There is a track alignment for the Dark Horse with handling package in the owner's manual. LOL.

Don't take this sitting down, Gunslinger55.
Nope it’s getting escalated as we speak

Found out they lied to me already was some service idiot that denied it. I asked my advisor to explain exactly why they denied it and he said “i don’t know”

I think they stepped in it we shall see

You are correct. It’s earnhardt. Other guys recommend chapman as well. Fk earnhardt they were trying to sell me a dark horse SC and a GTD while i was in there i’ll never do business with them again

Over $1100

It is very dealer dependent. I've had 2 good dealers that would honestly assess if the failure was from track related abuse or normal 'as designed' running. I don't go to them for wear and tear like wheel bearings, wiring scuffs etc but have had an engine, and failed cats, fuel pumps etc replaced. Sorry to hear they denied you. This is a good product opportunity for a small sheet metal guard for the rear shock wires
One member here agrees it’s the dealer. I don’t know why the dealer would deny it it’s no skin off their back is it? I could easily repair it permanently myself and keep running it or buy my own shock and replace it vs getting hosed by a dealer. But it’s being escalated now

Very interesting

At this point keep a log. Date, time, name of person to whom you spoke. Substance of what was said. If you can remember all of this now, start now and write down everything you can remember. Keep the log contemporaneously now for each entry.

FWIW I have had good experience w/ San Tan on my F250. I used to take the Mustang to Earnhardt when it was in warranty but that was over a decade ago. Larry H. Miller in Mesa is now closed.

Doood, I was literally on the phone with Ford about an airbag recall, while sitting in the lot with my caged 06 SCCA T4 car, who was on the phone with the head service mullah at Brookesville Ford, in Bville, Fla, I could not get the head mullah off his fat, dead *** to come out and look at my car so I could quit getting recall letters, the car was 50 ft away from the bum and he wouldn't even talk to me, I could see him on the phone with the guy I was talking to at Ford Motor Company. That was Brookesville Ford in Florida. If you need a car got to Nick Nicholas Ford.

Ok favorable update. Haha “surprise” after i escalated it up the chain and questioned who what where and why it was denied magically it was fixed under warranty. Way harder than it needed to be and i’ll be going elsewhere from now on

Need a list of track friendly dealers on each state….

You better get it quick, I bought my 2.5 acres n house for $150K in 2010 its over $500K now, the Villages are pushing things way up. If you decide to do it, PM me, I'll hook you up with a realtor, because you want to stay away from developments.
