Greetings, I'm upgrading the brakes on my 2025 GT with the performance package. Baer Eradispeed rotors and preferably an upgraded pad. It looks like no manufacture is currently caught up with the parts system for the 25's. Everything stops at 2023. Hawk HPS 5.0 is what I'd like to run, as I have positive experience with that pad. However, Hawk doesn't jump in with a product until you go back to 2021, and their website is a disaster to use. Gloc has pads but I don't know anything about that company.
The model change occurred in 2024 but knowing Ford, the Brembos are unchanged, I could be wrong. Any experience with this issue or suggestions for a good pad. Or does anyone know if the 2023 pads will fit on the 2025. Mostly driven on the street, 3000 mi a year, AutoX and the occasional track day, several times a year.

Reach out to Ken @KNSBrakes. He should be able to help you out. G-Locs are a pretty good brake. The owner of G-Loc is very responsive. I used them for a while but have since moved onto Pagid. They work better for me and the abuse I put on them. Other brands you could look into and not in any particular order.

Raybestos
Pagid

If you're looking for a good street / track pad. There is none.

I would look at the Brembo site and see if you can find what the caliper code is. If they are the same and the rotors are the same then they should work.

@OPMustang Tim was helpful when I was evaluating pads for track use. He is a sponsor on this site and sells the G-LOC pads. I think I mentioned it on the Mustang7G site as well, but I'm currently running the R10/R8, but bought the R16/R12 at Tim's suggestion for when my current pads wear out.

I also was considering the Baer Eradispeed, but some feedback on this site made me rethink it for track use. https://trackmustangsonline.com/threads/stock-rotors-or-upgrade.21305/#post-322805 If you do end up using the Eradispeed, be sure you don't get the drilled rotors for track use as they are more likely to crack.

I'm still waiting on Girodisc to release the S650 rotors, but haven't decided if I'll upgrade or not.

What was the issue with GLoc pads?

Please provide an update when you find some applications that work on the S650

Not sure what number G-Locs Byron was using, but many began using R12s up front and R8 or R10s in the rear only to discover they needed to use more aggressive numbered pads. This was the case for me and likely for Byron as I am one late braker and rumor is BJ is also! Coming up to corners we brake yesterday, so you might consider going to a R16 or R18 up front and a R10 or R12 seems fine in the butt end. Always , always, always make sure G-Locs are pre-bedded. I have used them since the business opened and used R18s up front on my Mustangs.
I have G-Locs on one of my cars , but on my main track machine I now use Ferodo DS3.12s. There are lots of choices and a call to Tim at OP Mustang is your best bet for these pads.

This thread is a little old so just a quick word of note , Raybestos pads are out of business. G-Locs are made in the US, in North Carolina, so they are less than some pads made overseas.

R12 / R10 and I had GS1 for street duty. I dont know how much of a rumor that is you hear. But Im still on the gas when people are on the brakes. HAH!! I was running throug R12s in about 2-3 days.

Same here , ran because I liked the feel of the 12s, but finally went to R18s and it took alot longer to run through them. Since they are G-Locs endurance pad they also take more heat, have a different feel and worked better for me since like you I went through 12s quickly. I felt the weight of the Mustang needed more pad for my driving style.

Braking hard and on the power quickly is an Art and I have heard you are the consummate Artiste !

Is your car track only?

Ok went with the GLOC R10/R12 very happy even with it being mostly a street car.
