We finally did it! Nick drove the 58 Dark Horse R from 16th due to a small off in qualifying, to P1 in DH Legends and 9th overall. Surviving multiple incidents around him and hard fought positional battles we finally got that well deserved win after 2 years of competition in IMSA Mustang Challenge. And to do it here after 4 days and 2500+ miles on the road was even sweeter. We are just heading back to Laguna for race 2 in just about 3 hours, followed by another 3 day haul to Austin to compete in the COTA USAC Mustang Cup races there next Thursday through Saturday. Having new team member Walter Bobko in the number 88, with awesome coaching from International GT4 hotshot Sam Paley we are definitely on the rise. The Ford Senior Driver Development Team is really having a blast.

That is amazing. You should be proud. I live near Watkins Glen. Are you running in that upcoming race? If so I hope to shake your hand.
Yes we will have both Team cars at Watkins.

Absolutely fantastic and definitely the perfect track to score Nick's first win in the Series. Plenty of great tracks but a win at Laguna Seca has to rank right at the top! Thanks Steve for all the cool pictures, almost as good as being there --- now I did say almost, ha!

Ran across Cole Loftsgard a few times over the years out West, great driver, great guy.
Yeah, he had that really clean matte black Boss 302S - pitted next to him at a Buttonwillow NASA race. Still regret not buying that car when he sold it.
