Still stuck in gear?

Well this is just crazy . I bought my 2014 Mustang GT about a year ago and im still experiencing lock when the motor is cold. I swapped out the clutch and not sure if the slave cylinder was replaced or not with it but the car was running fine when I got it back from the shop now 2 months later its back to the getting stuck again. I usually have to start it in gear then the first couple shifts are super rough until it warms up. Has anyone else experienced this or a manual transmission that jusut won't go in gear?

My Shelby does this, I think the cheesy automatic trans type fiber synchros do this a lot. What I do is just let the clutch out a little at a time and try to "rock" the car so that some trans fluid splashes back up onto those synchros and you can gradually get it to release, it is a pain, fortunately we don't have any hills around here, but even parking on a small incline can cause it. I finally started leaving it out of gear and actually use the parking brake, something unheard of around here, but it will allow the gears to spin, moving fluid around so it will "unstick"

Is that the old paper synchros? What fluid are you using @blacksheep-1 ?

Not sure man to be honest but ill say this i noticed my clutch does not come all the way out. Only halfway . Its a new clutch too. Unfortunately an SR performance clutch i got it before I knew SR is junky. Thinking it's a spring? I donr know much about mechanics tho just now learning

Complete lockout? Or just hard to get in gear? It's pretty common for it to be a little notchy/nibbly when cold. Complete lockout would be concerning.

What trans fluid are you running?
It was complete lock out then I put a new clutch in And it was better for a month then now it's off and on . Complete lock out if I dont run it for a week . I have a little civic as my daily but I've been running the mustang daily and it's been going in gear but now sometimes just so damn hard to shift. Another thing and something that Eric who had candy apple red on the site here helped diagnose is he figured out that my starter did not need to be replaced I have a bad clutch pedal sensor so I've been pushing in the little Grey plunger to start the car now . Not sure if that s related or not but thats another issue . Its starts on a dime when I push in the plunger but If not it will not start . So these two issues have been going on a while. I'd really like to fix them so I can set the suspension up and start tracking it. I live 12 minutes from summit point raceway so anxious to get out there again. I used to go when I had an m3 and a hooked up 328i and man I miss it

If you mean that your clutch pedal doesn’t come all the way up when you release it, it sounds like you either have a bad throwout bearing/slave cylinder, or it wasn’t fully bled following your new clutch install. Have you tried bleeding it with a vacuum bleeder? That would be a good cheap and easy first thing to try. Good luck!
