Nice build and the Goodyear 3Rs are a solid choice for track rubber and if you happen to be a member of USAA you can get a big discount on them under their " Perks " section.

The one for sale there in the ad has like 83k miles and isn’t heavily modified. If it has seen a lot of track time, I’d say 83k would be considered high mileage. The S550 needs differential cooling, and either transmission cooling or diligent transmission fluid service. The MT82 trans on these cars does not have a temp sensor so, you are left guessing as to the temp. I changed my transmission fluid regularly as a precaution. Also S550 GT does not have a direct oil temp sensor, it calculates the oil temp based on other data. So, I also got in the habit of changing the oil after each event. Biggest mod I made that really changed things for the better on my car was the seat and harness. These cars are capable track toys but, you have to be able to keep yourself securely planted in the seat. The OMP HTE seat and 6 point harness was likely the single best mod I made for overall track day enjoying and lap time reduction. If you are looking for a car to track, I’d suggest finding one that has not been tracked and doing some basic mods yourself. I don’t know the car being advertised but a car that has seen track time at 83k miles would scare me. If you do consider it, I’d do a independent inspection with compression check and scope.
If I had to do it over again, I’d,start with a base model GT, then mod. Really don’t need the premium or pp1 or pp2. A few mods from the steeda catalog are far more capable than pp1 or pp2. But I guess it depends on what you want. I quickly realized that having a dual purpose car (street and track) did nether very well. Once I decided mine was going to be track focused, lap times and enjoying improved.
