0ld Ford Automotive Racing Terror
I did not take a zillion pics like I have in the past as I found myself watching a bunch of Classes with friends I had not seen for quite a few years - ran into two Conehead Racers I had not seen for 30 years!! Since I joined SCCA in 1981 and started destroying rubber that year, I have been amazed how many ancient pylon pulverizers are still out on the pavement chasing hundredths of a second. Met Mike Snyder and his 2010 S 197 is just a classic old Gulf color combination, and he has a unique removable front end on the beast. Jordan Laskey was running at the same time as my son and I and he introduced himself and his Comp Orange Boss brought back fond memories of my first B302! Really cool decals and nice to see one of our favorite shops ( Capaldi Racing ) was prominently highlighted as that is who helps set up this CAMC sweetheart. Ole Mr. Black , who just had a Birthday a week back, showed up in the David Pearson special and it stood out beautifully among all the little weenie imports in D Street. Fun time for everyone and my apologies for not posting even more pictures as there were many, many other members from the site that were at the huge automotive slalom spectacle -- 1300+ Solo drivers descended upon the pavement of the Lincoln, Nebraska!
