proper mounting of wheel weights

  1. I paid a shop to Mount and balance my wheels and tires. Then I did HPDE at Summit Point. The weights fell off.am I wrong to think it’s poor work?

    I paid a shop to Mount and balance my wheels. They knew I was going to Summit and VIR. The very next day I went to the track and the wheel weights fell/flew off. My impression is this seems to be normal unless you use HVAC duct tape over the weights. Is this the best fix? And shouldn’t they...
