WTB OEM shifter extension/bezel

I've tried all the suggestions to remove the shift knob but have not been unable to separate the ball from the aluminum extension.
At this point, I'm ready to buy one to mount the new shift knob rather than damage the original.
Does anyone have one for sale?
I would settle for the part# if I have to go through a dealership.
Is there an aftermarket replacement that would fit?

Do they come apart? I removed my shift ball and the aluminum shaft came with it. Didn't look at it too hard to see if they came apart. Good Luck!

The piece does not come off the stock shifter easily and most shift ball manufacturers sell the extension you need.

the shifter extension you are referring to is sold as an assembly with the knob. To restate the above reply, I don't think they can come apart, not without destroying something at least
