Mustangs are tragically undersprung on the front. Get AJ Hartman's Magneride kit with 400-450 #/in springs. It's a massive difference in driving and a lot less harsh than you'd think. Use the stock rear spring to start. A bigger front anti-roll...
Ok great. Kinda what i was thinking. I’ll check out those springsThis kit i assume? Great site with lots of goodies but this with a stiffer sway bar should help a lot (see full post)
Honestly, this is the move. Find someone in North Carolina to get you a Jericho. They're cheap and strong. You can get any gears you want. They're 1/2 the weight of a modern 6 speed. If you want to go back more street driving, swap back. If you...
I have AJ's kit ready to install - and I currently have compatible 400 front and 1100 rear springs. I guess I'll keep the 400 front and maybe get 800ish rear. Many people I trust have given me wildly different advice regarding front and rear... (see full post)

Back after a long hiatus - actually we eventually took the 2025 season off. Reinvigorated for this season, got a couple track days scheduled, Blackhawk Farms Raceway got a repave before winter set in. Got a new 2025 Bell GT6 Pro helmet, a new...
It’s been a while but I’ve gotten back on the track after about 3 years.First year it was down as the oil pressure sensor backed out and needed a new engine. Then about 400 miles later driving home from work engine went again and this time a... (see full post)
This is track mode. Seems like it still leans a bit much? Do i need white line or some other better sway bar? Factory magna ride. Or is is just a big heavy car thing

They're a little noisey and the grip limit isn't like the top level tires. All in all, though, they wear well and are completely usable tires. (see full post)
Rs4. They last forever. Better grip than ps4. Cheaper. Check also the khumo 730
Or nexen (better grip but takes longer to warm)
Lastly the conti EC 200tw (trackdaytires) are endurance 200tw (similar to
Rs4)
Ps4 is waaay over rated. There are...
I 100% advise to get AJ"s kit. Go with 450 front spring (stiffest it will accommodate). It really helps the front of the car to have a stiffer platform. It's a big deal and unlike what a book would tell you, it does not increase understeer. I... (see full post)
Because the rear springs are located about half way along the lower suspension arm on the IRS, the wheel rate (rate at the wheel) is about half the spring rate because of leverage. (see full post)
100% yesAnd in the case of the Goodyear Supercar F1 3R, the tread width on the 305 is actually a little wide for an 11" rim. See post # 127. (see full post)
ok so I'm reading the comments. yes the car is bone stock. I plan to upgrade suspension eventually but probably next year. I originally wanted to buy wider rims and do 305 all around, but I didn't wanna spend the money on rims right now. 90% the... (see full post)
