Ok the “blister “ is on rear. Yeah they do look terrible a lot of money down the drain in a weekend. You sure i can’t flip them
and keep running? I’ll check the alignment something might be off (see full post)
Dark Horse R will be more work than i think you realise. It isn't a straight forward bolt on one afternoon. It is also designed for a specific shock absorber setup.
You need to cut the complete hump off the strut tower and possibly clearance the... (see full post)
Also the fuel cut, that wasn't a tank issue. I had a rev limiter in HP tuners off the clutch switch, not a smart move. It was making a 2nd rev limiter with the clutch engaged.
Also the Gloc R16 front/R12 rear pad combination may be a bit... (see full post)
Before pumping the clutch pedal to bleed the TOB, first apply vacuum to the master cylinder reservoir. I use a simple hand pump, mityvac. I found a rubber plug that fit the opening drilled a hole through it and stuck it in the opening. Pull a...
In the OEM configuration, the clutch is fed brake fluid from the brake master reservoir and doesn't have its own reservoir. The often-suggested way to bleed the clutch (given that there's no bleed valve on the system) is to actuate the clutch...
Not sure how they bleed the system. Is the TOB stock? If they are doing the suggested 50-100 pumps of the pedal to bleed the system, that may be your problem. Apply vacuum to the reservoir when bleeding/pumping worked for me.
thats the biggest thing I hate about these mickey mouse hydraulic clutch cylinders, you have to pull the trans to shim them, it's stupid, it is also harder to power shift, give me a cable or linkage any day (see full post)
Yeah I was thinking TOB. But it could be your trans too. Did you replace the TOB? Have you lost any brake fluid? Does pumping the clutch help?Good luck. Hope it's just air in the lines or TOB. If there is or was a leak I think that can cause...
I'm not a "treaded tire"guy, but I'll try. Yes it seems you can use some more camber, but I'm thinking you might have a toe issue. I noticed the feathering in the top photo, and on one of the lower ones you seem to have blistered the tire Tee Lew... (see full post)
Actually just ran across some technical info on ARP's site about "friction factor" and "preload scatter" where it can take over a half-dozen tightenings before a nut/bolt kind of stabilizes at a consistent stretch & clamping load for a given...
