For how long? Why I mean is, how many minutes do you run at a time? Also, are you pushing the car hard?I ask because non of those modifications are for cooling (other than IAT). I would be very surprised (but pleasantly so) to discover... (see full post)

I do. Have done NJMP and Pocono so far. Hitting Watkins Glenn in July, hopefully.Ford is my tuner. Trans tuning is perfect, as far as I can tell. Haven't needed more power. In fact sometimes hard to put down what it already has.Only things...

The guy said they were in a storage unit but in too may ways I don't trust the unknown. I just really will use them for an around town tire for now. At this point I may look for some takeoff with a history. Again no track just out and about...

New guy here- just took my PP2 out to Thunderbolt after a 2 year hiatus from the track. Tbolt has had a repave since I last took my 135i on 200tw and 400whp. They say the new pavement is worth 2 seconds, and that is exactly how much quicker...
  • Get signed up, it's going to be a lot of fun! I've been on iRacing for many years so I know the track layout very well. Hopefully that will help me get acclimated a little quicker than most. Hope to see you out there!

Yup that more or less what I thought as well. They look like shear tears. These were R7's from a batch a few months ago. (see full post)

Inspect heavily, does the rubber appear like they sat outside in the sun for 7 years. Any cracks, even minor starting? If you had bought them new and they were in a climate controlled (more or less) basement for most of that time, then I'd say...

Check them for obvious signs of deterioration or damage, if they hold air they are good to go. I wouldn't go set any land speed records with them but daily drives should be fine. I would call them "taxi tyres", rock hard so they last a long time...

Good morning,First and foremost, my thoughts are that I shouldn't.Now the question:I recently purchased a set of Apex EC-7 wheels, and they are fitted with BFG g-Force Rival S 1.5. However, they have a date stamp of 2019. I have no...

Time for a quick rough and ready suspension lesson. The fundamentals of suspension basics are that the spring are for holding the car up and that sway bars are for tuning the front to rear balance. Just because they are called sway bars doesn't...

I'm going to throw out an educated guess and say its a compound/process problem. Look closely into the tears and you can see strands between the edges of the tear. "Plastic deformation is the permanent, non-reversible change in shape or size of...

Has anybody ever used one of these policies?I don't mean purchased it. I mean made a claim? If so, could you tell us a little about it? (see full post)
