Who knows?I don't have any insight or information about what testing Ford has done regarding wheel width and tire sizes. It could be that they have not tried it. Maybe they have. Any answer I might give would be pure speculation. If you... (see full post)

We have a perfect example of this concept with our own Dave Whitworth. He mounted some dinky 295/18s on his 12 inch wheels and was blowing folks away in CAMC. This was on a set of RE71RSs so this may be a better example for some over the PS4Ss in...

I knew that the sensors existed, but I didn't know if anyone outside of top tear race series used them. Apparently I missed the joke/sarcasm. Lol

300A Connection point turned up so some quick fab the other night and bracket made, nutserts in and a quick paint. Mounting point done. Spare hours while dinner was in the oven, grabbed an extra pair of hands and crimped all the cables and bolted...

The old standard that a 100 lbs of weight reduction is worth a second of time on the track is seldom remembered. I applaud your mods, weight off is such a simple way to gain time and speed.

Got bored waiting for people to get around to doing my machining for the front struts. Seriously hard to find someone to do some manual machining that isn't either inundated with work or who actually gets back to you about doing it even though...

I had this issue with my 2017 GT350 and the hose that comes of the reservoir going to the clutch had been known to not seal properly. I saw a fix for it online and it was put a small hose clamp on the hose on the barb or a zip tie. I put a zip...

  • Hey Adam, I’ve been following the Silver Mustang build on the channel, and I’ve got to say, the sound of that car during the first track tests was absolutely spot on. It’s got that perfect, gritty '68 Bullitt vibe that every Mustang fan dreams... (see full post)

Why wouldn't Ford do it, especially on "track pack" cars? Is it a curb rash fear on a "stock car", probably driven on the street at least some?I don't think they did this type setup on even the GTD. (see full post)

No idea what happened (but that one tire looks to be dated 2023?) but you shouldn't have to worry about an R7 batch problem since the R8 is a thing now...er....trackattackpro or whatever they call it.

Skip ditching tires only to buy take-offs, just keep your eyes open for discounts and get a new set. Discounts are available often through TireRack and also places like Costco. You can even get RE71RZs through Costco , though you have to order... (see full post)

Inspect heavily, does the rubber appear like they sat outside in the sun for 7 years. Any cracks, even minor starting? If you had bought them new and they were in a climate controlled (more or less) basement for most of that time, then I'd say...
