Your best bet is to just copy the basics of the track pack cars then. Get the track pack specific rear springs, handling pack/track pack camber plates or an aftermarket equivalent, move to a square wheel and tire setup with the 315 cup 2's at all... (see full post)
Guys at Middleton Motorsports are the folks you want to speak with about GT500 track day mods. For rubber I would look at the Hoosier R8. They make a 305 and a 335 in 20" You will get between 10-15 good fast cycles. (see full post)
I believe SR Performance is American Muscle's in-house private label Chinese garbage shocks. As Nancy Reagan said, Just Say No.Koni Sport (aka Yellow) shocks are good for the price. When adjusting, don't leave them at the end of the range or...
It can, in some cases. In others, it just comes across as pissy. What's your issue? A lot of times you'll get good ideas from guys who don't have some crazy resume. For the record, I've raced more cars than you've made shoes smell and I've done...
No rule set perse'. Just me throwing down some fast laps at a track days. I'll be picking up a second set of wheels (OEM sizes) with more aggressive rubber. What rubber? No idea. Something more aggressive than the 4S's on it now. But not so... (see full post)

Say im trying to decide on a suspension set up and some wheels and tires for my 2014 mustang that has 115k miles and still the original shocks and control arms. I was going to go with Koni sport and eibach springs but was told today that SR...
Oh yeah, that's totally normal. The traction control light and the ebrake light are both displayed. But I've only had the abs module in for about a month; these symptoms are over two year old at this point. And thank you for the references on... (see full post)
I still haven't tracked it, the pics at Sebring are from a parade lap I did a couple weeks ago. hopefully soon. I found the car online, paid $29K with 18,300 miles. The car is really clean but I'm having some driveline noise I've got narrowed...
My suggestion would be to stop playing games on the street and take it to a track. Street racers do nothing but bring disrepute on mustang owners and are bad for the entire mustang community.
We don't need that.

The Toyo RR is an older tire. They are inexpensive. The tests out there show the better 200tw tires are as fast or faster, and last longer.https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/ultimate-track-tire-guide-20/184214/page5/ (see full post)
