Yep, that's the accepted logic. It's not exactly wrong, but it misses the point. The 'Pro' will naturally have a sharper front end because of how he drives, not because of the settings on the car. If you do end up with a car that's genuinely... (see full post)

Interesting - I've always heard faster drivers want a sharper front end because you can manage the rear end with steering and the pedals....but what you're saying is backwards, right? (see full post)
  • TeeLew replied to the thread S197 pushing badly.
100%. This sounds completely counterintuitive, but you can pretty much tell how fast a driver is by now much understeer they want in the car. The faster the driver, the more secure they need the rear of the car. They create the rotation on their... (see full post)

Called and spoke to BMR. They asked for emailed photos so I did that. Was told that I will get an email response tomorrow. (see full post)

As Tee Lew mentioned, a lot depends how you drive as well. I know when people drive my car they say it very strong understeer (running with out a rear bar etc). For me at least, Rotating the car in the corner with the brakes is key. Then early... (see full post)

I decided to pull the trigger on a Nine Lives Wing after Watkins Glen. It arrived the night I was putting my car on the trailer for Muscle on the Mountain at UMI Motorsports Park. It was a thrash to get it together that night, but I'm happy with... (see full post)

I made it from scratch using dimensions from Setrab's website. I don't have much experience 3D scanning. I can see how it would be beneficial for reference parts, like this cooler, but I've heard it's a pain if you ever have to modify one of... (see full post)

The one for sale there in the ad has like 83k miles and isn’t heavily modified. If it has seen a lot of track time, I’d say 83k would be considered high mileage. The S550 needs differential cooling, and either transmission cooling or diligent... (see full post)
