I think the misfire is a bigger concern than 7/10ths driving with a supercharger. Misfires on track are really tough on the cats, ask me how I know. But of course, it can be hard to have the self control to stay at 7/10 and as you start to push... (see full post)
Do the rear wheels rub when the car it sitting on the ground? I thought they only rubbed on that ‘hook plate eyelet’ when the car is in the air and the suspension is drooped?
Looks great though. (see full post)
I watched the movie "Convoy" twice over the 4th of July weekend. I hadn't seen it since I went to movies to see it back in 1978. The CB craze was in full gear back then! I even had one in my 442.......My "handle" was "Mellow Yellow"... (see full post)
Looks great man. Surprised on the rear rubbing. If you can get rid of the rear spacers, the front/rear track ratio improvement will help your turn-in and balance.
Not sure what free-length your rear springs are, but that is also a factor in... (see full post)
Can you say more about where and how it was rubbing in the rear? I run 305/30/19 on 19x11, 50 mm offset, cortex inverted rear coilovers, no rubbing anywhere. I’m interested in going to 18x11 setup like yours. Thx. (see full post)

I’m maybe will HPDE the car 5 times max a year. I’m not near a track and they’re costly. Car will see more autocross than HPDE in its life (see full post)
2K isn't a temp rating, its a paint system. Like a 2 part paint.
Doesn't really matter what "high temp" coating you use. If you track your car the calipers are going to get way hotter than a normal road car usage. Pretty race car components don't... (see full post)
what about G2 paint or 2k high temp spray paint?? G2 says on their site it can whit stand up to 980°. 2k i would assume is self explanatory. (see full post)
Honestly, they were damn good considering you were floating around in that seat. Being strapped in so you aren't using the steering wheel and brake pedal to hold your body makes a huge difference. A seat and harness would change how you feel the... (see full post)
That's not very hot before "dulling". Porsche road/race car we ran had lovely bright red calipers at the beginning of the season. By the end they were a dark burgundy. Any bright colour is going to "bake" to a deeper shade.
Just be aware if you... (see full post)
