I just use a paint marker from Walmart, if I'm handling more than 1 car, I use a different color marker for each car. Tires that I use really don't last long enough to use a spreadsheet. (see full post)
The Boss302 platform had to be legislated out of competition to give the Gt4s a fighting chance. IMO, it's still the high water mark of the Mustang platform, with a few exceptions like maybe the Gt350.
And..uhhmm just stick with a panhard bar. (see full post)
10 years ago I took my Saleen 4.6 3V to Summit Point for the fifth time, and threw a rod. My fault completely. So, time for an upgrade. I installed a forged Ford Racing shortblock, some CNC heads, mild cams (boost), and an oversized 10 quart...
Thanks, the car was pretty great in American Iron trim, just needed more torque. It's been sitting for a long while since I acquired a TA2 car. Someone tried to steal stuff out of my trailer by cutting a hole in the roof, they smashed up all of... (see full post)
Not having a go at anyone, far from it. Hadn't done the maths in my head as to degree of accuracy between methods either.
I appreciate the information to understand the whole system first. Then understand the shortcuts/what is vs isn't needed.

Good info from Mr. Loudcar and though many run 305s and 315s, the 325s are super tricky. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish there are other solid choice besides the Goodyear F1 3Rs, though a set in 305/19s is still a good option. (see full post)
I run the 19x11's up front with 305's easily. I wouldn't feel as comfortable running a 325 on there unless it's a very narrow 325. I would want an 11.5" up front at the very least. According to Apex the preferred front fitment for something that... (see full post)
GT350R: 240 #/in
GT500 CFTP: 268 #/inI thought the S550 GT was 165 #/in and the PP1 was 175 #/in? It doesn't really matter...they're all bad. The GT500 spring is the only one worth talking about. If you're not going to go at least that far... (see full post)
Those sound like the Mach 1 non-Magneride combo? Is this a Magneride car? Ford doesn't change the physical spings very often, because it's expensive to do. If this is on a MR car, then they've made a new spring for us. You'd have to be able to... (see full post)
I used to look carefully at temperatures in my track cars but I eventually realized that "there's a computer for that" that takes care of the engine and drivetrain and if it gets too hot, it'll cut power to protect the equipment. These days... (see full post)
Before I got my GT350, I ran a number of cars with coil-over suspensions. The answer to your question is a bit complicated, but it goes like this: First, figure out the distance between the spring seats when the suspension is at the bump... (see full post)
