First look at the new 18" SM-10 samples we just got in! They'll be available in 18x10" ET40 and 18x11" ET52 with production units here something in December or January. 18x11" ET52 weighing in at a slim 22 lbs (that's fully painted, with center cap). Check out that flat barrel profile and knurled bead

These SM-10s really are the pinnacle of flow formed wheels in my opinion. 1600lb load rating, massive brake clearance, and a beefy inner lip to resist impact bends similar to those found on professional racing wheels, these are built to take everything you can throw at them. Not to mention the knurled beads and CNC cut I beam spokes. As an added bonus, they fit factory S550 center caps for the ultimate OEM+ look. Pricing will be around $1600-1700 for a set.

Why couldn't you have had those for the last group buy. Just mounted my EC-7s not long ago lol

Looking forward to forged EC-7s vs these next year as I need to go to 11s end of next year.

Interesting choice Cory of 19x10 over 19x11, can you discuss rationale for limiting your tire size to 285. Most of commentary here is maximum width is required for a track driven Mustang. Thx

This was purely a photoshoot with street wheels and tires for marketing purposes, at the time we didn't have many photos of 19" SM-10s on S197s and these were samples that I had from the initial release a few years ago. I run 18x11" square with 305 or 315s on track. You are correct that stuffing the widest wheel and tire under the car for track use is most beneficial and something we always recommend!

Thx Cory, I have your EC7’s size 18x10 and want to go to 19’s just haven’t done so as Covid changed priorities this year.

Need to do some glamour shots of my white beast, but I just can't decide whether to do it with my silver Apex 18x11s or my black Apex 18x11s?
They both look great so it is such a difficult choice to make, but since she is in my son's garage, under a cover for Winter Hibernation, I guess I have 3 months to decide which one deserves the photo opportunity, ha!

Just put black on one side, silver on the other for the photo shoot and pick your favorite later.

Actually did that one day ( took pics on each side of the car ) when I was switching tires/ rims , but that was in my driveway and gotta have a beauty shot to impress Cory, hehe!! Plus, since I won't be on track anytime soon with Nebraska's weather it gives me one more thing to ponder this Winter. The other thing is I really need to get another set of Apex rims, since I sold my rain rims/tires from this year. Kinda of thinking about the badass bronze rims, so if I do that I will have three choices ---- can you see my dilemma now, ha?! Of course, now that I am retired I am trying to figure out where to get more money to buy those rims and I am just hoping Apex does a Winter Sale in late January through March? I seem to always need my rims when they are at regular price so hoping for one set on Sale, but they are so reasonably priced compared to others I can't complain much.

Wolf , this is a great place to ask questions as Apex probably responds better and more often that probably any other sponsor on the TMO Forum. Now it is Sunday so Cory ( Mustang Rep there ) will likely not get back till next week. Part of the reason so many of us have their rims, as they keep everyone updated and are good about telling us of upcoming rims, changes , advancements, etc., even if in the future. Have a good rest of the weekend.

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but is there any chance @APEXRaceParts will release a 5 spoke design anytime soon?
There will not be a traditional thick 5 spoke wheel anytime soon, however we do have a couple new forged designs in the work currently for Mustang, Camaro, and Corvette. That project got put on hold last year as we encountered some major roadblocks that would've flawed our product offering for those markets if we didn't step back and start from scratch.

For the flow formed lineup, I don't really see anything new coming out in 2021 design wise that hasn't already been announced. We'll have a pretty full slate of 18" & 19" EC-7 and SM-10 (18" SM-10 coming early next year) offerings, as well as breaking into 20" wheels for the new GT500 (later in the summer/fall).
