Ok, thanks for the info, but I also remember that someone (company) installed the Kooks long tubes with double cats and still could not get the CEL off. Isn't correct?

Sorry, if I am asking a dumb question as I am out of town a lot and catch up on the board when I am home. But can someone explain how these new short or mid length headers do not trigger a CEL and the long tubes do?thanksBen

TMS, I agree that the gearing is not the same between the M-82 and the T-56 but Ford could have worked that out with Tremec before hand. And don't get me wrong, the M-82 with the MGW is a smooth tranny when warm, but the Tremec has the reputation of reliability and that it can take some serious...

I drove down and George installed my MGW shifter for free and as everyone has stated it is a dramatic improvement over the OEM. However, I just installed a new Tremec T-56 Magnum in my 89 coupe. No comparison. It is a shame that Ford did not even give us an option on this tranny. If you have not...

Bought it in Macon, Ga. They had 3 blacks and 1 silver. Closet track other than Road Atlanta is Barbers in Birmingham. Going to VIR in Virginia Memorial Day with the SVT Cobra club. Will do a few laps.

Getting my track key installed tomorrow at Marshall Mize Ford in Chattanooga. Maybe one weekend we could meet up and get acquainted.

Probably a dumb question, but I would appreciate any input. So you get the track key activated. What happens if anything if down the road you install a cold air intake and long tube headers. I know the warranty question, but what about the track key paramaters, still ok?

Opened the box up for the first time today. Splitter, supports and bag of screws. It is evident when I get the car up on jack stands how to attach it, or are there instructions and diagram somewhere?
