Here's 1 lap at Buttonwillow 13CWMy best of the day was a 2:05, which I was mostly happy with. But just to keep me humble, Will W. from WRTeknica did a 1:55/1:56 in just his second and third lap behind the wheel of my car... He's a beast! And I obviously have a lot to work on.
Yotah1 good recommendation. The passenger and drivers sides being different lengths threw me for a loop, but got it on the seat bracket and it works well on both.Though I’m still getting an airbag blinking lamp on the dash. (I tried really, really hard not to get one!!)I had the fuse (2.17)...
Making things interesting, the passenger and drivers side buckle brackets are unequal lengths. My first inclination is just to drill a hole right in the middle of this bracket to shorten it up and effectively make it the right length.anyone else travelled this road before and have another...
Hey guys,Did any of you with aftermarket seats (specifically fixed back seats) also happen to retain the stock 3pt belts?I’m trying to use the Schroth quickfit pro which reuse the stock receptors. But the bracket the buckle is on is too long and needs to be either shortened or mounted way...
Using the pads that come with the kit to start. And yes there’s ducting:
Agent 47 front lower facia grille
3” Specfab racing bracketAnd you’re right, gotta factor in the wheels & tires, but I was longgg overdue on both of those so it worked out nicely.Shout out to Apex on that!
I tried to justify the need for these bad boys by saying “the stock calipers are 14yrs old... they’ve had a hard, full life”...The other (smaller) Brembos probably would have been sufficient, at least for me. But where’s the fun in that?Plus they made them in black, how can you say no?
Quick note - (sorry to interrupt the tomfoolery momentarily!)Stainless lines have been ordered.I will say, from the pictures the fittings look like they are different shapes, but when I spoke to OP he said they will work!(The ones that come with the Ford kit are square where they attach to...
Glad you guys are around to help the colorful Mustang owners like myself try to catch up!!(I had googled it and used the search bar, but it was actually a hard thing to google! Sometimes you just need a human answer)Also good to support the sponsors when possible. Make it worth their while...
Thank you both! Super helpful.I will definitely give them a call. already have their spacers, didn’t see the brakes section on their site!Just felt wrong to install these nice calipers with the rubber lines they provide.
Hey guys,Putting the big 15'', 6 Piston Brembo's on my '06 Mustang. Did some searching and couldn't find any options for upgrading to stainless lines. Seems like every set I saw excluded the '13-GT500 Brembos. What options have you guys found? Thanks in advance!
