Anyone care to guess what happened to this factory Recaro seat?

Its a good price, but scroll through the pictures. How did the back get twisted like that

Almost everyone I ran it by suspects some type of crash. Makes me wonder how it didn't deploy the airbag. My dad suspected maybe a big fella was using his elbow to push out of the seat a lot.

Haha...but the tracks look a little off too. I think I would pass on it. Thinking the structural integrity has been compromised.

I'd stay away. But if you buy it for parts, and just replace the frame parts, maybe it's okay.

I don't see any proof of the 'mist'.

I don't believe it's salvageable or even if it were, the cost to repair would be sky high to get it right again. Seems to me that asking price is ridiculous.

They've also got Recaro seats form a 2015 mustang but apparently the floorpan and seat rail is different. I'd happily plug one of those in, I love the Recaro seat from the 2015+

Agreed...that seat should go to the crusher....next month it will be a Prius!!

No kidding! That seat was in a crash and absolutely should not be re-used. It belongs in the trash.
