So cool Mike in Fl, you obviously will have one of the best seats in the house. You guys are so appreciated by those of us who are or have raced ---- workers really are the unsung heroes that the general public is seldom away of.

Thanks for the work you do !
It’s strangely an addictive hobby :).
I will never be a racing driver but doing this gets me so close to the action and access to all areas.
Ive been lucky enough to flag from every corner at Daytona including the start stand. Also flagged many events at Sebring including multiple IMSA 12 hours and also the F1 at COTA.
One of my favorite times was blue flagging the last 3 hours of the Sebring 12 hours a few years back (pre WEC) standing on the back straight between 16 and 17 was an experience. So close to the cars at full speed was awesome

Thanks Mike , I have the utmost respect and yes, love, for all the folks who take their free time to help so many of us Race, do Time Trials, etc. I know on the days I was out in a hot car in 100 degree weather for 30 minutes, workers were out in the same conditions for the entire day. Things run smoothly , most of the time, and it is only due to all of you who work your butts of regardless of the weather and in most cases for no pay.

The closest I have come to working at Sebring was many years ago I got to announce races there for the Viper Racing League, Formula 3 , and a Florida Truck Series. That was a riot and the history of the track always has put a sense of awe in me ---- I also went to the Pan School twice with a bunch of friends to run the track in the Pan GTs.
