My car is back to flintstones mode, resolving some issues with the new motor and will require break-in. Keep me informed though, I'll let you know if things start looking up to do that (though I do have to fly out to PRI in Orlando one week later)

Out of curiosity why does the link for the Red Oem Gas cap for 2012 say 2013? Is there a difference? Will the 2013 red/yellow faux gas cap also fit a 2012 boss? I wouldn't think there'd be any difference. Interestingly, they also sell a 2012 Laguna seca faux gas cap for more money ($154) What's up with that?

Jeff I'm not sure but it should work. When I purchased mine it included the silver wart visible on the 2012's, that's the piece I painted black. I believe on the 2013's the piece for sale is just the emblem and it attaches to the black plastic deck lid panel. These should work on your 2012 wart.
