We've used Motec in the two cars we've done paddle shift with. Geartronics does have their own system as well (http://www.geartronics.co.uk/paddleshift.htm). We use Geartronics paddles as well as their actuator and valve assembly.I am seriously interested in the sequential with paddle shift.....im assuming you also need a motec?
So can we buy the kit (trans/etc etc etc) from you guys and get help setting it up?We've used Motec in the two cars we've done paddle shift with. With having manual brakes on the car, it's just a nice thing to feel before going into a corner, knowing that you have brakes. Especially having had a situation at T17 at Sebring in a BMW and not having a brake pedal, it does the heart/brain a bit of good to have a firm pedal. With the brake setup on this car, as well as mine, I don't have pad knockback.
We changed to a Tilton 600 pedal setup.Manual brakes? Did you just remove the vacuum supply to the booster? Or did change out the setup?
We have used both Ford and Bosch ABS with the manual Tilton setup.Does manual equal no ABS?
We can certainly get all of the parts for you, but we had to reach out to a professional (Motec in our cases) to set everything up once it was all installed. That will involve chassis dyno work and a track day to fine tune the blips and cuts. A light weight clutch is very important as well. We use a Tilton carbon that has a very low MOI.So can we buy the kit (trans/etc etc etc) from you guys and get help setting it up?
Is that an ad for the new Lightning??
