I ordered the plate the day after I ordered the car.
I've already got the plate and still waiting on the car - LONG wait.

Of course BOSS302 was already taken so this was my solution.

Boss302 in NJ is on a Grabber green 1970 Boss. He also has a 2012 Yellow Blaze Boss.
I see him around once in awhile at a car show.

My first car was a 1969 Boss 429 in Royal Maroon. And yes, I've been hearing for 46 years that I should have kept the car.

I found these in a box the other day.

As I recall, I paid $5500 cash for the car. Ordered it from Dub Richardson Ford in Oklahoma City. I was 15 and my folks told me I could buy any car I wanted, if only I would sell the %^*& motorcycle. I had just hit a bus on my Honda and had a badly broken right foot, hence the parents' plea. I was working as a wedding photographer (at age 15) and had the money saved. I waited all summer for the car and ended up driving to Tulsa to pick it up at the terminal. I didn't have a unrestricted license yet, but met a girl on the first day of high school (4th hour Mrs. Reynolds). She was 16, so I was legal with her in the passenger seat. Married her and had 3 kids. She convinced me we needed a bigger car, so I sold the car to a mechanic at Pugh-Cobb Ford in Guthrie, Oklahoma for $3,500 and bought a 1972 Gran Torino. Still pondering that decision...
