Not a bad result after that initial crash.

Not sure - I wasn't able to find that out but it would be strange if that were the case. Wonder if time was lost trying to rebuild the car after the crash. Anyone have that info?slower then a stock model 3? did i read that right?

JDee , what the heck is a Whizzer? Sometimes you Canucks confuse me, sounds like a car the runs on pee? I guess that must be correct , cuz obvoiously you are pissed off, hehe. I figure if you and I live another decade we will be racing electrics, the problem is it will be you and me in chairs zipping around the Nursing Home.........
Don't forget those mods to enhance the performance of your new mean machine!!!!!!!!!!...when you're not racing, you can chase the nurses. What you do if you catch one is up to you...............................and Randy knows his stuff in ANY vehicle!zipping around the Nursing Home........
You know, I just haven't had as much enthusiasm for the Pikes Peak hill climb since they paved the road. Thanks Sierra Club (not!) https://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports/a29542/paving-pikes-peek-hill-climb/
That's what I was thinking - that they continued competing and finished 2nd after the crash was pretty impressive.More a story of perseverance than success in the actual race IMO. Pretty big feat to get the car rebuilt , and they had power issues on the official timed run that I’m sure put them further down the finishing order. I wish they could have competed without the setback to get a true feel of potential.
I'll go along with grit your teeth, but I'm not shutting my eyes driving in Colorado. Scenery is to good, jeep, raft, train, car, truck, motorcycle and plane. Independence Pass, Leadville, jeep trail between Ouray and Telluride, jeep trail up to Bridal Veil Falls in Telluride. I have too many favorite spots to visit when I go thru Colorado.Grit your teeth, shut your eyes and count the bumps. It's amazing to go through that and continue on. That road up to the top is not for the feint of heart. Even not at speed.
