Gen1 Steering box

I wanted to use a QUIK steer box in my 65 but rather pricey. I heard of using a power steering box instead. Anyone done this?

I have a power steering box (16:1) and a manual rack setup (centerlink, idler arm & pitman arm) on my 1967 fastback.. builds character and forearms at low speed... but it works just fine

I would recommend ditching the stock style box and going to a rack, Flaming River makes those kits, and if you are really hi zoot, you can probably find an electric one.
I really don't see why you couldn't whip something up using a junkyard fox body rack and heim joints.
