I have a 2018 Model 3 Long Range RWD with all options available at the time of ordering. If I'm nice to my wife she said I can take it to a track day. But first we need some Level II or Level III changers at the NorCal tracks.

Don't most tracks have RV hookups? At Barber they look like they have the NEMA 14-50 plugs. I think they would charge similarly to a level II charger. Right?

Yes. Having a Super Charger or the like is wishful thinking for now but a 240 volt source is way faster than 120. I have the Tesla Level II charger in my garage. My electric company paid for it but I had to pay for the installation.
