If I read the "reason" correctly, they said they were waiting to train non-Ford Racing dealers. They didn't say they were waiting to train all dealers...5 DOT 0 said:They cannot install something they don't have.Vince said:And the reason that Ford Racing dealers can not install it now is ?

I know, not everyone will opt for TRACKEY & some already had it built into their sales price, but I'm sure most will get it, if not for anything else, just for the novelty of having it.
Did they have the exhaust discs removed? They were still in the cars when I was there in August. My impressions on TK are the same as yours. While the throttle might have been a bit more aggressive it was not nearly as noticeable as the engine braking. I did not notice the chime and display when the car was warm. Nobody from the earlier classes posted about it either.BossJockey said:Had a great time at Track attack. Here my impression of Track Key, without driving the red and black key back to back it hard to say if there is any power increase. The increased engine braking is vary noticeable. If you plan on using the red key on the street, and driving at slow speeds, you'll need to up shift two gears just to keep from looking like you can't drive when you lift off the gas. One thing I noticed was thet the Track Key engine management did not activate until the oil/engine was fully warmed up. The car would chime and display "TrackKey engine management active". It seem to take a little bit of driving even with a warm engine before it would activate. If nothing else, it's a good way of knowing your engine is fully warmed up. As others have said the ghost cams (with the disks removed) is real cool and worth the price of admission alone. As far as improving your lap times, unless your at near pro levels with your driving skills, your money would be better spent on driver training.
Cool, I did hot laps with Joe and he definitely knows how to drive flat out. I've been driving mine at 6/10's and having lots of fun. ;DBossJockey said:When I watch the video of mine and Joe's laps, it's like mine are playing in slow motion.
