Vaughn Gittin Jr. to Drift the Nurburgring

TMO's favorite drifter and track mate is going to drift the Ring in his Mustang RTR. This should be epic!

Once the tires go, the rims gotta be the next concern.....not too much drifting on them...I'm sure they have that all sorted out.......

I met him 4 years ago when he went there the first time, trying to do this. He and his buddies rented a bunch of cars, got driving coaches and everything, and spent the entire day scouting the place. They were supposed to do it a few days later as he was there for an exhibition, but needless to say that without rain to "save" a bit the tires, they weren't gonna make it.
I saw him a few times on track, fairly fast for someone who doesn't do "grip" usually.

L.E. use those Spike strips for a reason. It tends to slow things down once a car loses its rubber.

I think if he does it and puts out a video we will see an uptick in Nurburgring crash videos on Youtube of guys trying to re-create it. He should do it in a Transit next
