Installed new PFC 01 and put the well used RE71Rs on this weekend. Tonite drove to Mexico to bed the pads.
Tuesday nite, load the Boss onto the trailer. I'm working 1/2 day (ok, I'll be at work 1/2 a day--actually working is debatable), and heading to Lincoln for the nite. Will be at MPH mid afternoon Thursday for the Roundup.

I took her for a drive in my old neighborhood. I ran across this 1970. It has an interesting story. Was bought in FL in the early 70s. He paid $900.00 and had the documentation to prove it. Has done some good mods and still has all the old parts. It is a nice car. I thought the picture together looks good. His idea. Didn't get a ride or give one. He was at work.

Tramps like us, Baby we were born to run...
Continued with eradication of alfalfa in and outside the car, fixed my loose mirror, and repaired the QTP cutouts. In hind sight, I should have just removed the cutouts as it became more work than I thought. I had to rerun the wiring on the ride side and that meant removal of the rear seat delete, some trim panels and the carpeting because I have the remote box stuffed under the rear seat. What I had hoped would be a twenty minute job turned into a six cuss task.

What is the chance of finding the plug for the strut rods to the LS spilter? One of has gone missing.
Check your local Ace hardware store and see if they have a plug that's the same size.

The easiest job working on your car seems like no big deal at all at the tyme, but things may snowball in a hurry before you even realize it...this is referred to as "Murphy's Law"...It has gained fame over tyme for a reason!!!!!!!!...I've learned about it oh so well the hard way over the yrs...............;)............Some gear heads seem to be immune to this curse, they are the lucky ones!!!

Being in the business of fixing/building stuff for some 40 odd years, plus a lifetime around racers of all different disciplines and skill levels I can tell you from experience, some people are their own worst enemies. My employees will tell you the most repeated phrase in my shop is; "Wait, let's think about this".
