Wheel Weight Adhesive Removal

Would like to clean up some BBS road race track wheels and would like to remove the wheel weight adhesive without hurting the finish. What have you found that works well for this chore? TIA.

Rubber wheel on a die grinder or drill and then tar remover(or similar) if the tar remover doesn't work on its own.

Warning Warning- Always test on an inconspicuous area any time you do things that impact the finish coat.

Tried Goo Gone Gel. Works OK.
Tried Goof Off. In a can. Works even better. Really well.
BBS suggested that I try 3M Adhesive Remover or an Adhesive Remover from Wurth. Going to look into these.
Thanks fellas for your suggestions.
BTW-so far, both still required some elbow grease, but the Goof Off allowed me to goof off a little more.
