Love the back section after the long straight, with the increasing radius turn going over the small rise before heading back to the left and railing around that section at over 100 mph. For a short track , especially after watching your second and third video , the number of spots where you could hit close to or over 100 mph, along with the long straight pushing close to 120mph, I have to admit that it is not a bad little course for it's overall length. Now if you could get those moving chicanes to move out of the way of the Grabber Blue Cruise missile you might be able to get in a few clean laps. You would think after getting passed a zillion times they would see the Monster Smurf running up on their butts and move over?!

Rules of the day were pretty strict : no passengers, windows down, and passing only in the straight

Love the Grabber Blue. As far as 6 points with Recaro's, I used these on my Boss 302 to mount their harnesses. Not sure if it'd work on the GT350 or not.

How do you use these? Do you sit on the lower 5th and 6th points?

I like their brake cooling ducts though, I didn't notice the existing holes on my LCA, I'll have to check this tout to make my own ducts then

They go in the rear seat mount bolts. Yes, you'd run the sub belt of a 6-point between the seat and sit on it.

Wow, don't wanna do that... I like my nuts, and I don't wanna cut them off in case of a crash lol
I've never seen people sit on their harnesses, seriously.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going with Schroth 4 point ASM system unless I decide at some point to jump into trackcar territory and remove the interior and carpet and all that and put fixed buckets.

I just installed the Cooltech brake deflectors but I don't have any temp data prior to installing them. Supposedly they are installed on PP cars. I wonder why Ford didn't install them on the 350? I'm somewhat skeptical that they'll do anything but I picked up my set at a nice discount and doubt they will do any harm.

The ASM belts are working fine in my car for track days. I'd install a race seat with six point harness for TT.

I don't know if the deflectors are big enough for proper cooling. The tubes coming from the front bumper give plenty of air to go intot the wheel arch, but don't really direct anything towards the brakes themselves. I have proper cooling ducts on my track car in Europe and just this mod makes such a difference in brake temp and the pads life expectancy.
I'll have a look under the car in the next weeks to create a template for a proper fdeflector going almost all the way to the disc to optimise the cooling as much as possible.

Just got the car back from the dealership this morning. New aircon belt was installed, gear knob was loose so they tightened it back properly, and they adjusted the trunk as it was higher on one side when closed.

So happy to get the car back, only to get a "check engine light"on the 2 mile drive home
Dropping the car off again tonight so they can check it out...

One thing though, they had the car parked outside overnight, and I have to say i mildly appreciated getting my car back all dirty with rain drops dried everywhere on the paint, especially after having spent 2 hours cleaning the car from top to bottom before dropping it off on Tuesday morning. I respect the garage guys, and want to bring them a clean car to work on, so I expect to get a clean car back ...

That's annoying. I always take my can in clean and expect a clean car when I return. The current dealer I'm using always makes sure it's parked inside overnight which I appreciate.

No complementary wash? Even my wretched local dealer that loves to overtorque the ever loving crap out of every bolt they touch offers to wash the car. Or maybe that's why they do. Hmmmmmmm.

No wash . But i made my point last night when i dropped the car off (with even more issues than in the morning sadly) so from now on they'll keep it inside or use the cover that I always keep in the trunk to make sure it stays clean.

Regarding the car though, the idle became very rough, throttle response was lacking precision and had a slight delay, it kept swapping between exhaust modes on its own ... hopefully this gets sorted fast

I think the lack of wash is a bit of a coin-flip.

On the one hand yes, it would be great to have a clean car returned to you.
On the other, you don't know what their wash-monkeys are capable of and you could be at risk of them "detailing" some great swirl marks into the paint--especially if you are the type of owner that spends hours cleaning their car

In all honesty, I wouldn't want them washing my car. They would end up getting a whole heck of a lot more swirl marks in the finish then I usually do when I wash my car lol.

Then they can simply keep it inside, especially considering Michigan weather...

Anyway, thermostat is getting changed on Monday, apparently it was a bad part. Exhaust and throttle response issue are not yet solved.

Thermostat is a pretty common issue on new 350s honestly. Hope they get the other ones knocked out for you.

It seems like an abnormal amount of sub-2000 mile cars have defective thermostats in that they stick open and don't allow the car to come to full operating temperature.
