Background & Plans
I own a 2005 Mustang GT 5-speed manual originally from Florida (AutoNation Ford Margate). It already had GT500 body components fitted when I acquired it.

The goal with this car is to keep it as a balanced and enjoyable V8 Mustang, suitable for both road driving and occasional track use, without turning it into an extreme build.

So far, I’ve focused mainly on improving handling, braking, and overall chassis performance rather than chasing power. The car is currently receiving a brake cooling kit installation.
I’m also gathering the necessary information to properly install a Shelby differential cover.
In addition, I’m waiting for the delivery of a Whiteline front sway bar.
Ideally, I would also like to add front camber plates in the near future to further improve front-end geometry.

By the way, living in France means I’m regularly surrounded by small 3-cylinder 1.2L engines… so the Mustang’s ~300hp already feels more than enough for my daily dose of fun 😄

The long-term plan is to keep refining the setup for more consistent track performance while maintaining reliability and street enjoyment. It’s a long-term, evolving project.
