That's a relief....thanks for the clarification, and definitely continue to drive and enjoy your car!!
  3. 2013 GHIG on hemmings

Oh please....$53K is absurd, and asking ridiculous money will not have a suddenly magical effect on your "investment". Sorry.
  4. Half Off Certificate...Borla

At a Mustang club raffle I won 50% off for Borla. You know how costly this can be so this is potentially a big saving opportunity for quality stuff. I am currently engaged in fundraising for a most worthy effort, that of supporting organ and tissue donation in NorCal. I am a heart and kidney...
  5. Mustang Specialist, SF Bay Area

Going there for the Historics. Thanks for the referral!Bob
  6. Mustang Specialist, SF Bay Area

Thanks very much. Shingle Springs is quite a way up in the foothills past Sacramento.. It's about 120 miles or so.I have had several conversations with Jack Schroll, and yes,he is awesome. He's had the car for a day and was unable to diagnose my issues, but wants to keep trying. I do have to...
  7. Mustang Specialist, SF Bay Area

Hello everyone.I am most interested in a competent Mustang/high performance vehicle shop in the San Francisco Bay Area. I would prefer one that can be reached relatively easily by phone or email, and returns messages. Of course that is secondary to Mustang expertise. I live in Livermore...
  8. 2012 Kona Blue w/ Recaro/Torsen For Sale in Raleigh, NC

I love my 2001 S2000....Silverstone/Red with 65000 miles. But I feel I need a Boss, having been smitten back in '69 and '70. Unfortunately my wife is not currently in agreement, especially as she loves top-down motoring, 100% reliability, and absence of any sort of "unnecessary" expenditure...

  11. C-stripe question.....

There's a '12 Kona Blue for sale with all the white stripes, hood scoop trim, and white top covering removed. What and how much $ is involved in replacing just the c-stripe? I would never trust my dorky self to do it, I need a pro.
  12. Car you wish you still had

Has to be my '66 GT 350. Owned it in college, 1970 to be exact. Too young and poor to keep it. I did drive it from Santa Barbara to Laguna Seca to see Parnelli Jones win the '70 Trans Am there.Or maybe it was my 1964 Porsche 356 SC. I dunno....
  13. WTB '12 Boss Kona Blue/Yellow Blaze

Still "laying in the weeds" checking out various vehicles... however our ambitious travel plans are causing a delay. It is, after all, our 40th anniversary so that is appropriate. But afterwards....?
  14. Some sweet exhaust notes of vintage Trans-am race cars

It most certainly is, and it is one of the events that every enthusiast needs to see. Last year the featured marque was Cobra and it was nothing short of spectacular. The honoree for 2013 is Corvette marking 60 years.I am enjoying the Trans Am videos. I attended many in the Sixties and...
