  1. What to Offer?

Really depends on condition. Barrett Jackson has screwed all the normal guys out there.
  2. What to Offer?

Haha it needs a total restore. I sold a 65 post for a 64 hardtop project car. It's solid from Texas but needs everything. The current stable is:2011 Mustang GT Brembo 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee 66 Mustang convetible I6 auto 64 Falcon HardtopThe plan for the Falcon is a warmed over efi 5.0 with a...
  3. What to Offer?

I sent out a feeler on any car that meets my criteria within a 150 mile radius. If I got in the 500-750 over invoice range I'd be ecstatic. It would keep my debt-to-income ratios in check as well. I'd drive further, but I'd like to stay closer to home if possible. I did drive from Columbus...
  4. What to Offer?

It's been about 7 months since I've actively looked for a Boss. I'm working deals on two different Boss 302s now, one with Recaros one without. I am trying to figure out what to offer. Both are currently at sticker but I feel better deals are available. I would be more apt to deal on the non...
  5. Recaros - How to make them last?

I'm a wide bottom so I have considered non-Recaro cars in my search. I'm afraid my fat butt might hurt them more than standard seats.
  6. Thoughts on whether our Boss 302's will have future value.

I think the biggest difference between what we consider classics now and these cars is the attempts to move away from oil. Where a 70 Boss can run on the same fuel that it ran on then, these cars may be obsolete. My dad had many big block Mustangs back in the day and never thought they would...
  7. Ford Faces Patent Suit

Not all of the systems referenced are exclusive to Ford. The park assist for example.
  8. Boss 302 Review in Wall Street Journal

Take this with a grain of salt. He called the Shelby a 500GT after all.
  9. Starting to Reconsider Options

I believe they are the same frames as the Boss/Shelby Recaros but with a Ford Racing logo.
  10. Kona Blue w/ recaros at MSRP in Florida

I called about the RR with Recaros at Sandy Springs and said their starting point was $10k over. The lowest I got him to was $6k. Typically around here they are $2k-3k. I'm not driving 9 hours to pay more lol.
  11. Thoughts on whether our Boss 302's will have future value.

With inflation what it is today, value will be a relative term.
  12. Question from a GT Owner

Just an update, a dealer 20 minutes from me got a RR with Recaros in. I'm trying to get the small ADM off as they are offering me a very fair value for the 11 considering some rock chips and the leather situation. If I get the ADM off, I'm buying it.
  13. Question from a GT Owner

The thinking started when I saw a RR 11 GT which was almost the same as my car sans the leather. I thought about trading straight up, but figured the Boss isn't that much more. I'm in my mid 20's with no real responsibilities and wondered how times in my life I'd get an opportunity to own a car...
  14. Question from a GT Owner

Well the GT will be paid off in August and so by selling it I could pay cash for the Boss. I'm really regretting the black on the GT and the leather from Ford is terrible. So I started thinking about trading up to either a Boss or a Shelby (disposable income is not always a good thing). I like...
  15. Question from a GT Owner

Yup, the one I'm putting a deposit on is RR with Recaro's.
