  1. Pics of your Boss 302 or S197 Mustang at the track!

Some Autocross pics from this past weekend. Had a great time. Now if only dedicated Autocross wheels and tires weren't so expensive! :P

They run each week?! That will really go thru a set of tires! The group I run with has a championship event once a month and a "fun" event once a month so two events total. I rarely go to both because I need to save my tires since I am on a low budget for my racing habits. I run a staggered...
  3. V6 Mustangs

Well I think my next plan is either the LS wing on the rear or 3.73 gears. The 3.73 gears would help acceleration greatly compared to my stock 2.73 gears. I don't hit speeds (yet) that get close to the limiter. When I do go to tracks like Sebring, then I might hit those speeds. The wing would...

Thanks for the advice guys! I plan on the brake cooling ducts for sure. 20" wheels are more for street driving and car shows, so far they are holding up to autocross/drag racing because of the width. I love the look and now I am just looking for a used set of sve drifts because of the price of...
  5. What did you do to your Boss 302 or S197 today?

Re: What did you do to your boss today?30mm going to make that big of a difference? I mean the scoop just sits below the transmission and directs air up on to it right?
  6. What did you do to your Boss 302 or S197 today?

Re: What did you do to your boss today?I wish I knew for sure because I am always down to get something that would help cool the components of my car. Maybe if someone were to be selling one for a decent price, I might try it out :P
  7. V6 Mustangs

Yeah the 2.73 gears are awful. There is a Cyclone Mustang only event coming up in April where they drag race to see who is fastest. I might put the gears to the top of my list since they would help my acceleration greatly
  8. What did you do to your Boss 302 or S197 today?

Re: What did you do to your boss today? They list the Tranny cooling scoop as a GT specific piece but shouldn't it be able to be installed on a v6 model as well since we share the same transmission?
  9. V6 Mustangs

Well I am going to use the stock setup till the pads go which shouldn't be much longer and then I was going to upgrade the rotors to the DBA T2 STREET SERIES ROTORS - FRONT PAIR (11-14 GT) from Americanmuscle or one of the other part sites. The only thing I can tell that I would need is the...
  10. V6 Mustangs

Well I do plan on upgrading the brakes to the brembo setup but they are hard to find it seems. The drive shaft is on my list as well, the blowfish racing bracket serves as a driveshaft safety loop as well.Suspension wise, I was looking at a watts link with a torque arm. It seems to offer...
  11. V6 Mustangs

I did some searching here on the forum and noticed there were very few v6 mustang members on here. I know many people think that the v6 mustang is more of a commuter car but I see potential in the Cyclone engine. It revs high and is very peppy. The v6 mustang weighs less than the v8 mustangs and...
