  1. 2012 Boss vs 2010 Camaro SS On Road Course

On a short, fast track like Lightning, 2 seconds is huge. I imagine if the Boss didn't have to tighten his line to pass the Camaro, the difference would have been much larger.
  2. Mine's in the pipeline

Good to hear the 2Q cars are starting to get build dates. :D
  3. latest build date

    You're a 1Q car, correct?
  4. Boss 302 in tampa/clearwater very soon!

You're a heck of a nice guy. If it weren't my busy season at work, I'd probably be buying plane tickets.Good luck to the eventual owner. I hope he buys you a beer.
  5. Second Quarter Boss Orders

I'm a second quarter guy as well. I'm not expecting to see the car until July so if it gets here any earlier, I'll be surprised.I figure I've got many years to enjoy it so why stress over a few months?
  6. Who will be the first to post pics of their Boss on BossMustangsOnline?????

I've always stuck with a CG Lock for the above reasons. I never wanted to go to a full cage on my weekend car and harness bars and harnesses without full rollover protection are a disaster waiting to happen.
  7. Some random thoughts after the first few days

Fanastic! I can't wait to hear about your first track event.I've basically put my season on hold until I have something that resembles a build date.
  8. Who will be the first to post pics of their Boss on BossMustangsOnline?????

I love it! Enjoy. You're not making my wait any easier.
  9. 3 Tracks

    NJMP, Summit Point, Pocono
  10. What "must have" creature comforts will you put in your Boss?

I got it to fade once on the Evo X, running 265-wide R888s, running back to back half hour sessions in August heat with no brake cooling guides in place. :P
  11. What "must have" creature comforts will you put in your Boss?

Yes, it's inexpensive, has a high boiling point, and alternating between blue and gold makes bleeding a breeze visually.
  12. What "must have" creature comforts will you put in your Boss?

Helmet, pad spreader, spare bottle of ATE Super Blue, AUX cable so I can listen to my iPod on the way to Summit Point.
  13. Pricing and Order Guide

I had no intentions of buying a LS but happened across one by chance (2nd quarter production) at MSRP.
  14. Pricing and Order Guide

I wouldn't fret if you have an MSRP car. If you had the displeasure of having to call around to a number of dealerships (Took me 8 different dealerships to find my LS) and find an allocation, you'd quickly find that even finding an open allocation let alone one at MSRP is a rare find.
  15. Helmet

Thanks for the welcome. In my opinion, it's all about comfort and fit. If the Simpson gives you that firm but not tight feel, it's most likely going to not only protect your head better in a wreck but also not give you headaches that can ruin a run session.I ended up choosing the HJC because...
