Jason, I took mine to the dealer and I could not get it to lockout with the heavy line tech in the car. I could have, but would have to of speed-shifted to do it and the service manager said they can't do anything for me.Could you let me know what the TSB number is for this? The bracket...
I took the ball off and it lessened the rattle but did not eliminate it. I have the stock shifter and it's 2 and 3rd gear under acceleration. It reminds me of how sometimes an aftermarket shifter will rattle. I place my hand on the shifter and it goes away.
I lowered my shifter and the lower bracket and it eliminated it almost completely.Exceeded my expectations Steve. Fantastic product. I'll leave you a great review on CJ's.
I read all the ideas about shimming the top bracket and shifter snout, lowering the shifter etc. But don't see that anyone has fixed their shifter rattle under accel. I have the stock shifter and hoping someone had luck just adjusting the 8 bolts. Otherwise I bet it's the shifter rattling and...
We all know the 2015 GT is using Boss valves/cam etc from 12/13 roadrunner but this is the first time hearing it's faster on the track. I'm skeptical but maybe the IRS and 200lb weight difference is the kicker."2. The 2015 GT can beat the 2013 BOSS 302: What’s impressive is that the 2015...
I'm at 18,000 miles and still burn through 1.5-2 quarts between oil changes. I switched to Mobil1 at 5,500, but I think i'm outside any break-in period... trip to the dealer is in my near future.
Anyone using these? I'm sick of not having traction so ordered these. Not going to road race with them, but should be a nice sticky tire for this summer.Would love to see a pic on the stock 19x10 Boss wheel.
I'll read up on the additive. Thank you for that. In my last 2011 GT, I moved over to Redline and shifting greatly improved in all temps, but I'm not sure it's an approved tranny fluid by Ford.
I'm starting to get some minor grinding in third and fourth with all this recent cold weather. It improves after heating up so wondering if I should swap to Redline fluid or if I should just take it to Ford.
