I didn't realize it until today, but I ended up winning the tuner! They shipped it today, pretty excited! Thanks for the heads up about the contest, although maybe you should have kept quiet and won it yourself!
Definitely not the greatest article, but I actually agree with it. I have been hoping that the Mustang could ditch it's hardcore 'Murica drag racer status, and become a true sports car. This has already been partially achieved with the 2011-14's, but I think that the introduction of IRS and a...
Yeah. There will be no wagon sold in the US...ever. Or at least not unless a huge shift occurs in how the unwashed masses view them. Which is a crying shame, because they're so cool!Edit: There will be no *FORD* wagon sold in the US.
Finally took a couple pictures of my Shift-I.I mounted it on a piece of aluminum tat is bent into an L shape. And I just shoved it between the gap as shown. It sits very tight in there, but I wrapped my pieces with carbon fiber vinyl, so it may be less snug without. When it's off, you...
I saw that line of reasoning used a lot when I was researching the sequential shift light. But now that I've used mine, it really doesn't hinder you in any way. It is bright enough to be seen easily in your peripheral vision, so you can still keep your eyes outside. Plus, I haven't seen many...
I got an Ecliptech Shift-I. It's a sequential LED tach. Very bright and easy to see with just peripheral vision, plus it's just cool to have a sequential shift light. 160$ and easy install.http://www.ecliptech.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=59&Itemid=109
From my understanding, a "Flat-Plane Crank" is simply a different arrangement on the crankshaft itself right? Not actually horizontally opposed cylinders.
Wow, that rendering is really nice. Almost DB5ish to me. But, from the spy shots it doesn't look like we'll be getting a fastback.I just want a factory turbo GT500 (or 350, whichever they go with).
http://fordecoboostchallengedrive.com/Map.aspxAnyone go to one of these? My friend and I went to the one in Chicago earlier this month. It's basically a very simple autocross event. They give you the reigns to both the Focus ST and Fiesta ST, and 4 laps. You can do 2 in one and 2 in the...
The stock 2011 GT fogs are 6.5", so presumably those should fit within the opening. But I would expect to do some work to get them there. I've been searching for a useful replacement as well, however I want to put them in the lower grille. No luck so far finding any that are small enough yet put...
Haven't done water transfer stuff, but I wrapped my dash with 3M DiNoc vinyl. It turned out really well, and isn't too terribly hard to install. Here's a crappy picture of it, it isn't as shiny in person. It's actually a matte product.
Congratulations on the new car!Not sure on the computer, sure someone else will chime in. But I would imagine that it is self adapting. As far as the brakes, yes that's normal. The stock Brembo pads (I believe they are Ferodo) are very dusty. If it bothers you, you can switch them to a less...
