Overlaying the stripes with a blue stripe and white pin stripe to match the numbers on the door I think could work. I think you need a blue or a grey main stripe to work with the other colors.
I think it looks better with your setup because those C pillar pieces were the only thing above the waist line of the car other than the white over the top stripes. That's one of the reasons I added some extra vinyl on the hood, end plates, and...
I ended up removing the C Pillar decals. It was just too much with the stripes in my opinion. May add them back if I ever remove the stripes. Snapped some better pics (see full post)
Looks like I got a lot of tires to try! I'll likely be making the switch from 3Rs to R7s for a track event in June at VIR. But as for time trials, I'll be looking at everything suggested in here so far. Appreciate the feeback so far everyone... (see full post)
All of those tires give you the same 'mod factor' according to NASA. I figured they're all very very close to each other in terms of grip🤷♂️ . I'm a big fan of the 3Rs, actually haven't tried the regular 3's yet. (see full post)
