Quick question for those that have a Dailey drysump. It looks like it bolt to directly to the block and seal with an oring vs the windage tray/gasket like the stock oil pan.
How does it deal with crankshaft windage and oil drainback issue from the passenger head?
Is the vaccum created by the...
Check the 3 wires plug that connect on the alternator.I had a bad wire make bad connection, middle one if I remember correctly and I would loose power to the gauge cluster and loosing the power steering for a second before coming back on.
Engine was running fine during that time.I had to cut...
I have the MM K member too, I asked them before I bought it because I already had the Howe balljoint . I had to convert the tapered stud to a bolt through. No issue. The biggest advantage of the Howe is stupid easy to replace or do the maintenace on it. Get the 30$ socket to make it even...
As far as ball join, the threaded one from Watson are pretty easy to install for a competent welder and are serviceablehttps://shop.watsonracing.com/HOWE-EXTENDED-BALL-JOINT-BALL-JOINT-ONLY-p/wr-22409.htm
Check the 3 wires harness going into the alternator.I had one of those tiny wire break and had the same issues as you described. It was on 2012 Boss 302 though.
The wire broke right at the connector on the alternator side and had to splice a new connector.
I don't think you be able to use the cluster gauge unless you add a second fuel level sensor. The stock system use 2 level sensors. One in each saddle of the stock tank.
Then the cluster average the 2 reading to display the remaining fuel. You have fuel level 1 with pin 15 and 16 and fuel...

I see that you have a S550, mine is a S197 so it might be different but here's the way I did itHere's the wiring diagram for the Cartek. It's on page 2.

.
I wired my car the way it's explained...
Agreed with the others on the hood vents.Fully box the radiator, I see that you have the top of the radiator boxed up. What about the bottom? Also just run a fan without shroud. Since it looks like it's just a track car, the fan should just be big enough not to overheat the car in a red flag...
I'm using the Cartek GT which does disconnect battery ground from the chassis.
It also has a 40amp switch to kill the electronic. I use that connection to cut the power to the PCM power relay which then kill power to the ECU, coils, etc...

You might be able to turn down the OD diameter of the adjusting collar on a lathe.I assume your tender is 2.25" OD and the collar is made for a 60mm spring (2.36").
It looks like if the collar match the tender then it will clear according to the last picture.
