That is kind of what I had been thinking. Michelin recommends no less then a 10 inch wheel with a 295 but I wasn’t sure if that was a hard fast rule or more of a suggestion (see full post)
Someone locally has a set of 4 of these tires for sale for a very good price. I’ve spoken to one person who has run these on the track and they had a good experience with them. Wondering if others have had a similar experience.my other...
Buy once cry once. That is a good way to look at it as well. Does Vorshlag still make the camber plates for the s197 new or would I have to find them used (see full post)
I had actually considered doing this! My only concern was not being able to adjust it later if I decided to change the setup but I guess I could just buy camber plates at that point (see full post)
looking to get -2 to -3 degrees of camber in the frontcar has stock springs with koni adjustable shocks, wheels are a 18x9.5 ET 45 with a 20mm spacer hoping to run a 275 or 285 tirewondering which camber plates and or camber bolts are worth...

I had been looking at the cup 2 but unfortunately they don’t make them in the correct width in an 18 inch tire which is the wheel size I currently have. The Falkens are something I’ll have to look into (see full post)
This is the conclusion I have come to aswell. I have a set of Goodyear eagle f1s that I think I’ll be running on the street and I’ll find a 200TW track tire (see full post)
For someone starting out track days, I recommend a tire that has good heat tolerance rather than outright pace. To be able to learn car control skills easily, you need a tire that can handle being driven reasonably hard for a full session and is...
I had been talking to Cornerz and his contis would only get him one season of street and track use. Are there any other tires that may be more durable (see full post)
Looking into what tires I should buy for a good street tires and decent track/autoX tire. This will be my first season for lapping so I’m almost certain tires won’t be my limiting factor in lap times. Looking for something durable good for street...
