Started its life as a 2011 GT. In 2013 the original owner started the process of converting the GT to a clone of the Boss 302R. The journey began at Capaldi Racing where they installed the roll cage, based on the cage in the 302R, and began work on the brakes and suspension. Unfortunately, I don’t have pictures of the entire build but here are a few of the car having the cage installed. They give a glimpse of where the car started and I’ll share more pictures of where it’s at today.

Along with the cage, Capaldi Racing installed the Recaro Seats, window net, Sparco steering wheel and quick release hub, adjustable pan hard bar, Ford Racing adjustable handling pack, ARP wheel studs, Brembo GT500 brakes and ducts, 9.5” BBS wheels, fire suppression system and a Capaldi Racing radiator. The cost of this work was roughly $25K in Summer 2013.
